Something I saw in Matlock this week that struck me as being a bit unusual was a former ‘Nottingham City Transport’ Optare Solo that was registered W251 PAU and numbered 251.
It has recently joined the fleet of ‘Littles’ of Ilkeston with the registration VIL 9336.

Seeing it reminded me that earlier this year I had seen and photographed another VIL 9336 in Derby.

I presume that this bus has either been re registered, sold or gone to the the great scrapyard in the sky !
